Multi Tarp & Bag is a vertically integrated company— producing nearly 100% of finished goods, including specialty PE inner liners. We are committed to innovation with our extensive in-house testing facilities capable of extensive R&D for customer specific requirements. We provide inventory capability near to customer filling locations — consignment stocks. We are well positioned for ocean freight and are extremely service oriented. An experienced FIBC design & engineering team is employed and we have an extensive recycling program.
Multi Tarp & Bag manufacture a range of speciality, extremely high quality bulk bags for use in the food, chemical, mining, milling and agricultural industries. Our strong line of products, combined with our manufacturing flexibility, industry knowledge and experience, allows us to provide any style of bag for any application to any customer around the world.

History
- We have been in business since 1986.Converted our focus from Tarpaulin/FIBC joint production to dedicated FIBC production in 1998.
- Phase 1 of our new extrusion and weaving production facility started in 2001.
- Completed 2nd phase in 2004.
- 2004 Installed latest European technology of PP Spinning for manufacture of multifilament yarns in SA.
- Completed new FIBC production facility in 2005.
- Expanded our fabric production in 2006.
- 2007- Increased production of FIBC to 1,8mil bulk bags per annum.
- 2008 - Sales grew to in excess of 1,4mil bulk bags.
- Late 2009 – new bulk bag factory opens, increasing groups total annual capacity to 2,2mil bags.
- 2010 – comprehensive reclamation program implemented for closed loop factory recycling.2010 – PE Liner production capacity hits all time high of 2,8mil bags.
